Lot 1415A JAPANESE TANTO
A good example of a Japanese tanto measuring 10 1/4" overall with a 6 1/4" blade that has no discernable hamon. Brass habaki with a metal tsuka showing a silver toped peg and a family mon in the center of the grip. Metal saya with artistically engraved decoration. CONDITION: blade has a mottled dark gray patina. Saya shows wear and appears to be missing the tip and throat. (02-25628/BF). NON-GUN. $150-300.
